SOFTBALL

Practice

Softball practice continues each Monday evening 6:15 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on the Achieva diamonds.  If you have your own mitt, please bring it with you.

Wayne County vs. Olive Garden

The weather was perfect, lots of runs were scored, and everyone (including the spectators) had a great time at last Monday night's game.

Sectional Tourney - August 19

I will share more information when it becomes available.

Wayne County vs. Preble County, Ohio, Special Olympics

We will play Preble County at home on Monday, August 21, at 6:30 p.m.  Please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m.

We will play a second game with Preble County on Monday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m.

 

 

BOWLING  

You must attend the first 5 practices to accumulate the 12 SCORES REQUIRED to register for state and area competitions.  If you miss a practice, you will need to make up the games at your own expense and turn in a print out of your scores to Sue Brock no later than Sunday, October 8.  

OCTOBER 22 IS THE MANDATORY WAYNE COUNTY TOURNAMENT.  State rules REQUIRE that you participate in the Wayne County Tournament in order to be eligible for area and state competitions.

October 1 (3 games), October 8 (3 games)

October 15 (2 games)

OCTOBER 22 - MANDATORY WAYNE COUNTY TOURNEY - 3 GAMES

October 29 (2 games), November 5 (2 games)

SATURDAY AFTERNOON ON NOVEMBER 11 - AREA 9 TOURNAMENT AT WOODLAND BOWL IN INDIANAPOLIS

November 12 - NO PRACTICE

November 19 (2 games) All bowlers are welcome to attend.

November 26 - NO PRATCICE  (Thanksgiving Weekend)

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2 - STATE BOWLING TOURNAMENT IN INDIANAPOLIS

 

Area 9 T-Shirt Contest

 

LIKE Wayne County's Summer Games t-shirt on Facebook and help Wayne County win $150.00!!  Each county's t-shirt photo is in a separate Facebook post, and the one that receives the most likes will be the winner.  The winner receives a credit for 15 athlete entries in the Area 9 Bowling Tournament - a $150.00 value.  After the contest, Area 9 plans to use the shirts in a quilt which will be an Auction item at the Liberty Polar Plunge.  Ask all of your friends to LIKE Wayne County's shirt on the Area 9 Facebook page.
